The Senior Manager will be responsible for driving the Technology business on eBay. This position will be responsible for support of strategic planning, marketing, and product to grow the Tech business on eBay.
Areas of focus will include:
*Drive execution of the roadmap to deliver on the strategy for the Technology business in 2009, drive refinement of the strategy for 2010
*Partner with Business Development team to develop and close deals for the Tech marketplace
*Work with relevant cross-functional teams to ensure execution and/or involvement of the Technology perspective including Marketing, Product, Seller Experience, Pricing, and Trust & Safety
*Starting with industry knowledge already, build an understanding of competitive positioning, eBay’s value proposition for buyers and sellers, and dynamics within the vertical on eBay
*Develop business insights through ad hoc analysis and regular reporting
Job Requirements Responsibilities will include:- Develop the 2009/2010 business strategy and operating plan for Tech
- Support the development and execution of the overall Tech strategy on eBay
- Partner with BD, Marketing, Product, Seller Experience, Buyer Experience, Pricing, Trust and Safety teams to grow Tech marketplace

- Expert knowledge level on consumer trends on tech, consumer electronics
Basic Qualifications Job Requirements
*Expert knowledge level on consumer trends on tech, consumer electronics
*8-10 years of work experience
*MBA or equivalent
*General business training via brand management, management consulting or equivalent
*Exceptional abilities as a cross functional team player
*Preferably, online experience with a leading Web company and/or consumer marketer
*Excellent communication & presentation skills with both customers and senior executives
*Output focus, with ability to turn high level plans into valued and tangible output
*Familiarity with the eBay sites and businesses
*Fun, energetic, flexible personality
