Primary Job Responsibilities
Improving Trust is a top focus for eBay’s core business, and the Sr. Policy Manager, Seller Risk Management will lead a global, cross-functional team to create and implement strategies to significantly increase Trust. Focus will be on reducing bad buyer experiences caused by new and risky sellers.

Responsibilities include:

Leveraging eBay’s industry-leading infrastructure for verification, risk modeling, and policy rules deployment to create business strategies that optimally combine on-site web-flows, back-end detection, automated & manual reviews, and restrictions and consequences

Analyzing and making business decisions weighing the overall customer experience

Being responsible for ensuring Professional Fraud from new accounts is not lucrative on eBay

Leading and inspiring cross-functional teams by leveraging excellent collaboration skills

Being measured on achieving top line business metrics

Job Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in fraud risk management, internet product management and/or strategy

Passion and commitment on behalf of the customer

Proven track record driving major change and innovation

Proven ability to understand and manage complex systems

Strong ability to source and analyze data to drive business strategies and decisions

Coaching and leadership skills that bring out the best of the team

Strong influence skills for driving change across a large organization

Exemplary PowerPoint & Excel, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree, MS or MBA degree strongly preferred

Basic Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in fraud risk management, internet product management and/or strategy
Bachelor’s degree, MS or MBA degree strongly preferred

Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
