Sr Product manager Search

Primary Job Responsibilities
Define key product metrics that quantify search relevance and quality, and monitor search improvements over time.
Collect and analyze data on users search behavior and patterns, and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the global business and product teams across 7 countries to identify market-specific needs and create a global product vision.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop product requirements balancing business needs with engineering trade-offs.
Define and evangelize the search technology roadmap.
Track industry trends and perform competitive benchmarks on best practices for web and vertical search technologies.
Work closely with the research and engineering teams to design solutions for search engine problems and develop project specifications around these concepts.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, OPS, and project management throughout the entire development lifecycle from inception to launch
Job Requirements
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred.
4+ years of product management experience building internet or enterprise products
2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
Good understanding of search engines and algorithms is a HUGE plus
Exceptional analytical skills
Familiarity with linguistics and foreign languages is a plus.
Self-motivation, independence and ability to prioritize critical tasks
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
