As a member of the Application Architecture team you will:
Be counted on to set architectural direction for critical areas of the PayPal systems.
Work with several senior level software designers and their development teams to guide new feature development.
Contribute to the architectural principals and technology standards that raise the availability and scalability of PayPal's payments business.
Make technology selection decisions, including assessing and recommending external vendors.

Experience with the payments industry, online transaction processing (OLTP), and/or world-class websites.
Experience with the Linux development environment, W3C standards such as XML, XSL, HTTP, XHTML, CSS, etc.; cryptography; data modeling
