Primary Job Responsibilities

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Channel is part of the North America Business Unit (NABU) and will be focused on managing all aspects of the Carts & Hosts business. In this high visibility role, the Sr. Marketing Manager, Channel will be responsible for strategy creation and execution for the Carts & Hosts business (Carts, hosts, etc) – this business is a key part of PayPal’s strategy and we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead this effort.

Job Requirements

*Creating a winning strategy to continue the explosive growth this business has seen in the last few years

*Working effectively with key partners across the organization to create and execute the strategic plan. Key partners include Product, Support, Integration and Sales.

*Creation and execution of strategic plan will include creating and executing (with the help of the respective teams) the roadmap for product, support, and integration.

*Responsible for a multi-million dollar Rev target for the Carts & Hosts business.

*Work with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to track rev performance on a monthly basis. The Sr. Manager will also lead yearly forecasting / planning process for Carts & Hosts.

*Success at both creating and managing innovative, timely, measurable, and cost effective channel marketing programs (Online and Offline).

*Managing the multi-million dollar Channel budget.

*Manage communications to our partners so they get the right info at the right time and always feel informed.

*BS / BA Marketing. MBA a plus.

*7+ years of business management and marketing experience in the high tech industry (online experience strongly preferred). Experience creating successful channel programs.

*Razor sharp analytical skills to be able to measure and evaluate programs.

*Prior experience in preparing strategic marketing plans, including setting objectives, defining budget and project requirements, and planning and executing tactics.

*Online marketing experience.

*Experience working with SMBs is a plus.

*~10% Travel / Visit PayPal’s support center in Omaha once a month

*Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate cross functionally is critical.

*Ability to successfully drive major projects.

*Ability to work with minimal direction.

*Desire to get involved and lead initiatives


Basic Qualifications
