Primary Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Global HR Systems, this position is responsible for leading requirements definition, functional specifications, and project management for key global initiatives on the Human Resources Information System roadmap. This position will work closely with other HR groups, IT, various functional groups, and business units in defining and implementing HRIS solutions to meet business objectives. Job responsibilities include:

* Gathering and documenting business, technical, and operational requirements for initiatives; facilitating brainstorming sessions; developing functional specifications, use cases, test plans, communications and training plans.

* Providing implementation support through transition to ongoing operations.

* Conducting project kickoff meetings; defining project scope; developing detailed project plans; identifying project dependencies; managing issues and risks; prioritizing tasks to meet project objectives; communicating status; tracking and driving projects to successful completion.

* Collaboration and coordination with cross-functional team members to complete deliverables and resolve issues. Hands on development of deliverables as required.

* Ensuring program scope, schedule, quality, and associated metrics are adequately defined and delivered.

Job Requirements
Minimum 8-10 years experience in enterprise applications implementation (including packaged and custom development); strong business systems analysis and process design skills; knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.

* Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing large-scale project implementations from start to finish

* Experience taking strategic business initiatives and crafting clear, thorough functional requirements to be implemented by IT, Engineering, or 3rd Parties

* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills within complex technical programs to address design considerations and technical requirements

* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build strong professional relationships, and effective interfacing with various levels of management

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with ability to communicate clearly with all types of users

* Must be a true team player that works well in collaborative situations and excels in partnering across organizations

* Proven project management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent programs, make trade-offs, meet tight deadlines; and be solutions-oriented; ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive programs to completion

* Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow through skills

* Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment, and be flexible and adaptable to changing situations

* Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree Required

Minimum 8-10 years experience in enterprise applications implementation (including packaged and custom development); strong business systems analysis and process design skills; knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.
