We’re seeking a seasoned credit product marketer (ideally with 8-10 years credit card experience) to help drive the strategy and execution for our existing and future credit products. We’re seeking top talent with a proven track record of success with end-to-end product lifecycle development, including winning go-to-market strategies and plans. The incumbent is obsessed with understanding consumers’ needs and building innovative products that delight them, every time. The incumbent should be able to manage a small team of consumer product marketers and partner closely with the Product Management and Customer Experience & Design organizations on strategy and execution. He/she should also be highly effective at working with external partners at senior levels. Specific job responsibilities include:

*Be the voice of the consumer, the expert on insights and needs, work hand-in-hand with market research

*Own benefits marketing – clearly define the key benefits/proposition of each of our products and develop bold, telegraphic naming and messaging that bolsters comprehension; ensure naming/messaging is consistent throughout all communication channels

*Link product innovation to consumers’ needs – ensuring end-to-end product experience is on brand

*Go-to-market strategy. Manage all of the consumer-facing elements to bring products to market: research; naming, messaging, positioning; collateral; marketing & sales distribution plan.

*Track customer metrics & financial performance of credit product portfolio.

*Manage & develop a small team of consumer product marketing managers

*Proven track record of success with B2C end-to-end product lifecycle development, including winning go-to-market strategies and plans; significant experience working with all matrix functions impacted by new product development and implementation (Product; technology; risk; customer service; marketing; legal; more)

*Strategic thinker - the ideal candidate will combine classic strategic marketing skills with experience in multi-channel marketing/distribution of credit/financial services products and services.

*Financial acumen: Needs to be extremely comfortable with the analysis of customer & financial metrics and the implications of such.

*Challenger mindset: ambitions exceed resources; openness to do things differently; assume thought leadership of, and prepared to, redefine the category

*Superior relationship and influence management skills in interacting with senior leaders, peers, and external partners… with proven ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment

*Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

*Demonstrated strong marketing strategic and creative thinking (benefits mktg/customer orientation)

*Must handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail and needs to possess strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
