Primary Job Responsibilities
This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to use his or her domestic and international tax expertise in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of e-commerce. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Tax, Marketplaces, the primary responsibilities include :

Deliver timely and accurate tax advice to the business unit.

Assist with the research and implementation of tax planning strategies for the ongoing business operations;

Assist with researching and writing technical tax memoranda as required under FIN 48.

Structure intercompany relationships and transactions.

Will provide tax advice on special projects as part of a collaborative team that may include: Treasury, Accounting, Legal, HR, Stock Administration, or Global Mobility.

Support regional tax personnel with entity specific issues or projects, as needed, and ensure consistency with U.S. tax objectives.

Special projects may include M&A transactions

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Accounting and MS Taxation or LLM preferred

8-10 years of experience in Big 4 accounting, and/or industry.

Must be technically proficient and have good accounting, analytical, financial modeling, and research skills

Tax Compliance and Tax Provision experience highly desirable

M&A experience highly desirable

Must have the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities

Strong project and organization skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience in a multi-national organization
